Accessorize nail polish

I was waiting meeting up with some of my lovely friends on Wednesday night and made the mistake of popping into Accessorize to have a quick browse – needless to say I didn’t leave empty handed! But instead of leaving with the usual haul of jewellery I nabbed 3 of the lovely Accessorize nail polishes from the (kind of) new Accessorize make up range…

Illusion Molton Copper nail polish is a lovely rosey copper coloured glitter nail polish – it’s a really beautiful colour. It is a clear nail polish base with copper glitter, which meant that the coverage was a little bit patchy, in the pic above I have 4 coats of polish on. This would be lovely over an opaque nail polish, but on it’s own it was a little bit too patchy for me.

The first coat of Accessorize Illusion Aztec nail polish paints on with quite a petrol green colour and changes to a dark slately grey colour with a metallic fleck after a couple of coats. You can see in the pic above you can still see some of the green colour coming through the grey. The texture of Aztec nail polish was good, it painted on evenly and was opaque with 3 coats of polish.

Accessorize Illusion Gold Dust is just beautiful! A perfect gold glitter nail polish that isn’t too yellow. In the pic above I have 3 coats of nail polish on. I really love this polish! The texture is great and unlike the Accessorize Illusion Molton Copper nail polish, there are no patchy bits, so you can wear it on it’s on own and I’m sure it would look fab over the top of another polish as well.

I’ve just been on the Accessorize website and there are tonnes and tonnes of Accessorize nail polishes available to buy and they are only ?4 each – you can buy Accessorize nail polish online or in-store at Accessorize

The rest of the Accessorize make up range looks lovely as well! I can’t wait to try out more of it.

I’ve become quite partial to glitter nail polishes recently! You can see all of my Models Own Glitter nail polish or for something slightly more subtle (metallic rather than glitter) you can’t go past the beautiful OPI Burlesque Christmas 2010 nail polish collection
