Since Wimbledon rules call for competitors to wear nearly all-white, it can be a bit challenging for tennis stars to show off their style.

That is, of course, unless you’re the fabulously flashy Serena Williams.

The 31-year-old tennis pro, spiced up her Wimbledon whites with a few eye-catching pops of tangerine, including neon orange bloomers and Nikes with equally bright swooshes during her match against French player Caroline Garcia. But her real standout style statement was her hard-to-miss orange manicure, featuring different nail art on each digit.

There was a classic animal print, a bold lightning bolt, fierce flames, little lips and a decal with the word “pow” emblazoned over polka dots that looked like something straight out of an Andy Warhol piece!

And the tennis champ didn’t stop there. She brought out the bling for her match too, stacking a few diamond rings on her—you guessed it!—ring finger as a final touch.  And while the stackable rings and long fingernails that Williams sported may not seem like the most practical move during a championship when a firm grip on a racket means everything, she managed to win her match, so it’s safe to say she knows what she’s doing when it comes to her game—and personal sense of style!

But Williams wasn’t the only athlete to show off fashionable flair on the Wimbledon tennis courts. Like Williams, British player Heather Watson went for long, tapered nails, but she decided to do up her digits in a uniform glittery gold hue during her match against American Madison Keys. Although she lost, she blamed the lingering effects of having suffered glandular fever— rather than her fancy fingernails—for her defeat.
